Kirsty Wallace, Associate

Kirsty Berry joined Ford Sumner in April 2006.  Before joining Ford Sumner, Kirsty worked for the Ministry of Health, gaining experience in public sector issues and legislative processes.  Admitted to the Bar in 2006, Kirsty works with Jaesen and Mark in the commercial and regulatory areas of Ford Sumner’s practise.

A graduate of Victoria University of Wellington, Kirsty has been involved in a wide range of disputes in various Courts and tribunals.  Her experience extends to all areas of employment including disputes, mediation, ERA, opinions, drafting agreements and all aspects of employment law.  Kirsty also has experience in Accident Compensation appeals, prosecutions for Territorial Authorities and civil disputes.  Kirsty has advised clients on commercial and contractual matters and the financing requirements of small and medium enterprises.

Kirsty has presented at Ford Sumner seminars, advising on updates and changes to legislation, employment agreements and processes, as well as setting out procedures and 'how to' guides for clients involved in various disputes and litigation.

In her free time, Kirsty is a voracious reader and an active distance runner.
